What: Poco Pazzo Combo Lunch
Comments: We have been to this restaurant too many times to count, but never at lunch at this location. (I prefer the Stittsville location over the Kanata location - both good, just my preference). I ordered the Combo Lunch which was a single cannelloni, a piece of chicken parmigiana and accompanied by their Italiano salad.
We were served some fresh baked rosemary bread (with olive oil and balsamic vinegar) to enjoy before our mains arrived - which wasn't that much afterwards. The cannelloni was stuffed with meat and seasoned perfectly. It was topped with a tomato meat sauce - which always tastes fresh, with a great balance of tomato and herbs. The parmigiana was topped with cheese and sitting in some of the delicious meat sauce. The size of both pieces was a good size for lunch. The accompanying Italiano salad was ideal. Fresh romaine, tomato, red onion, kalamata olives and lightly dressed with an Italian vinaigrette. On the top was a light dusting of parmigiana reggiano cheese.
We left feeling satisfied and satiated. A nice option for the West End. It was my sister's first visit, after hearing about it from me for so many years. She will return.
